What Players are Saying
This game really is a perfect way to learn this. I’ve tried things like Duolingo and other online platforms, short of paying someone to sit and talk to me in Spanish. Using this game I have started speaking to my children in Spanish. It has increased my Spanish more than anything else has in the past. Nothing has boosted my use of the language like this has.
Caleigh L., adult learner of Spanish
La cuarentena
was designed for communication where students are able to communicate not only with each other as part of the game, but also with the characters in the game... I think that this opportunity for students to have a real-life, interesting, meaningful experience playing a game in another language really presents an opportunity to be able to practice their language and do so in a way that they don't even recognize what they're doing.
Jimmy W., High school Spanish teacher
The game has a lot of native speakers speaking about topics I might experience if I found myself speaking to someone in Spanish. The neighborhood was beautiful.
Michael E., adult learner of Spanish
[I'd recommend this game to someone who is] nervous to practice Spanish in real environments but practicing with a friend in a structured, virtual setting gives them the confidence they need.
Zoe S., recent college grad who took Spanish classes in school
[I loved] the many opportunities to actually use the present perfect in conversation, rather than simply learning it in a lecture and using it once or twice.
Archer B., high school student learning Spanish in school
